Welcome back to learning space A3.  My name is Mrs Martin, also known as Whaea Min. I am very happy (as I am now in A3 too!)

There will be a little more about me on the class blog so look it up! Remember that it can be accessed anywhere- even MacDonald’s have free wifi. We will also be following Mrs Owen on her travels abroad very shortly. But before then A3 are practising “Happy” and performing this Saturday at the Blue Baths. So good luck everyone.

Nominate a country and sport at the Commonwealth Games.

 Find out 7 facts about each.

 Choose a kiwi athlete and find out 7 facts about him or her.

~BASIC FACTS TEST –revise for speed and accuracy. Aim to improve and do your “personal best”.

       ~ Name the 7 sisters of Matariki. Read and say our kupu hou. Choose a kiwaha from the wall to learn and say.

READING-Always 20 minutes each day. Term focus=Narratives

SPELLING~Begins this week-testing next week on 10 words.

Present all work in an interesting way. In your homework book or on paper. Sharing of work =Friday August  1st
