Welcome to our Blog by Mrs Owen

Hi everyone 'Welcome' to A3's blog site for 2014. In our class there are 29 fantastic Year 5 and 6 children. Our current study topic for this term is 'Keeping Safe'. We will be looking at 'Cyber Safety' as our main focus. We have a diverse of cultures in our class- Chinese, Korean, Fijian, Indian, Spanish, Maori and European. I am always pleased with the way that all children show a caring nature & are accepting of others, especially our special needs children in our school. Last week we enjoyed swimming sessions in our school pool.  We are lucky to have Erin from Swim NZ in to help us improve our techniques over the next few weeks. We have begun to work on 'Managing our Impulsivity' & we hope to have some good strategies to follow in the class by the end of the week, to keep us focused & on task in class. We are looking forward to updating our blogs with our new learnings, so watch this space. We welcome & look forward to your great feedback.
